Privacy policy

This policy describes this guide website. It does not cover the Universal Modder software, your installed agent or linked services. This site has no user accounts, file-upload service, payment checkout or email signup form in the current release.

Browser preferences

The site stores your theme preference locally in your browser. When analytics is configured, it also stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so you do not have to choose on every page. These preferences are specific to this browser and site and are not synchronized through a website account.

You can remove them through your browser's site-data controls. If local storage is unavailable, a preference may apply only to the current visit.

Optional Google Analytics

When a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, the site asks for your permission before loading Google's analytics script or sending analytics events. Rejecting analytics leaves the guides available. If no measurement ID is configured, the analytics script and consent banner are not loaded.

With consent, Google Analytics can use cookies to measure page visits, command-copy actions and clicks to GitHub. The site disables advertising storage and personalization settings. Its own event payloads do not include the copied command, game files, terminal logs, API keys or email text. Ordinary technical information needed to deliver a request can still reach the service.

Use Cookie settings to change your choice or withdraw consent. Withdrawal stops this site's subsequent analytics events and clears the analytics cookies the site can access. It does not erase information already received by Google. Google explains its processing in its privacy policy.

Hosting and external resources

The hosting provider processes ordinary requests needed to deliver pages and files, which can include an IP address, browser information, requested URL and time. Provider retention and security practices are governed by its own policies.

Some example images are loaded from the Universal Modder project's GitHub-hosted files; your browser requests those files from that service. Following an external link or downloading a tool brings you under that service's terms and privacy practices.

Editorial contact

If an email address is available on contact, its link opens your own mail application. Sending that message is your choice and uses your mail provider. Do not send credentials, game files or private logs.
